As the VP of North American Sales for NHN Motor Components LLC., I have been associated with commutators for over fifteen years and doing business in the motor industry for over twenty years. NHN is in the process of expanding it's product offerings to include Goot Bearings, Sunico Shafts and TechMag magnets. The NHN concept was first conceived in 2003 and the company was formed in early 2004. The main thrust was to bring the unique, high quality commutator designs of both Nelco Commutators and Ningbo Huarui to the US marketplace. Both are well established respected companies that have been in business in excess of twenty years. NHN exclusively represents Ningbo Huarui located in Ningbo, China, south of Shanghai and Nelco Commutators located in Guebwiller France, in the heart of the Alsace region throughout the North American marketplace.  Ningbo Huarui is the third largest commutator manufacturer in China. We are ISO 9001, 2000, and QS 9000 certified. Our product line includes segmented commutators with and without mica insulation and with or without tangs for automatic winding. We have a complete line of air gap, tang type molded shell commutators of the highest quality for all the popular applications including starters, lawn and garden, power tools, floor care and automotive. Of course, we also supply to the medical and fitness equipment manufacturers. Commutator sizes range from .157" / 4 mm up to 6" / 152 mm. We can also custom design and tool product to meet your unique requirements. We supply commutators in volumes from several thousand to millions depending on your usage. The Nelco website will tell you about our stocking program where over six hundred commutator part numbers for industrial and traction motor applications are available for shipment on very short notice. Some Commutators can be prepared and shipped with as little as one week lead time. Sizes range from 4" / 100 mm up to 25.5" / 650 mm. Many are adaptable to meet your size configuration and design requirements. Several features such as slot size, riser or brush track OD, bore size or overall length can be custom machined to your specification. This can be accomplished even though the commutator is fully assembled, tested and ready for use.The stock inventory system is updated on a regular basis and ordering parts is very easy. If you cannot find the commutator you are seeking in the Nelco stock list or the Huarui catalog, we will be glad to review your completed design information form or blueprint in order to give you a very competitive price for a quality product made to your specifications. The lead time is naturally longer for a custom design due to manufacturing time constraints and process requirements. We will inform you of the tooling participation charges, delivery date, mode of shipment and final cost in our quotation. You even have options on the freight charges. |
